Welding combines carcinogenic fume, intense light, heat, electricity, fire, explosion and compressed-gas hazards.
This UK-focused course explains how to check the task, control fume with suitable LEV and RPE, prepare a hot-work area, use welding equipment safely and apply non-negotiable controls for vehicles, wheels, tanks, drums and gas cylinders.
Course structure: seven lessons followed by a ten-question final assessment. Passing confirms awareness only. It does not teach welding technique, prove practical competence, issue a hot-work permit or provide employer authorisation.
