This course explains a controlled procedure for coupling and uncoupling compatible centre-axle drawbar trailers using a towing eye and hitch pin.

- Inspecting and aligning the hitch, towing eye and support equipment
- Engaging and proving the towing pin and safety device

- Releasing the towing pin and separating the units
- Final checks, prohibited actions and defect response
Course structure
Complete eight lessons followed by a separate course-level 12-question final assessment. The pass mark is 80% and retakes are permitted.
