Airbags and seatbelt pretensioners can retain hazardous stored energy and may contain pyrotechnic articles. This course helps staff recognise where restraint devices may be encountered, understand why apparently inactive vehicles and components still need controlled decisions, follow safe receiving and storage arrangements, identify unsafe handling, respond to damage or unexpected deployment, and preserve holds through clear reporting and handover.

Course structure
Complete eight lessons followed by a separate course-level 12-question final assessment. The pass mark is 80% (10 correct answers) and retakes are unlimited.
