Car tyre and wheel work can feel routine, but it combines a raised vehicle, awkward manual handling, powerful equipment and stored air pressure.
This concise course shows technicians how to prepare the vehicle and bay, remove and handle wheels safely, fully deflate before tyre-changing, control inflation and complete the job with the correct tightening sequence and calibrated torque.
It includes five focused lessons, a 10-question assessment and Certificate of Completion. Awareness only; practical familiarisation, assessment and employer authorisation remain separate.
Covers ordinary passenger-car and approved light-vehicle single-piece assemblies. Excludes split or multi-piece, heavy-commercial, specialist, damaged or unfamiliar high-pressure, roadside, wheel-repair and hot-work tasks.
Refresher recommended every 12 months, or sooner following equipment or procedure changes, an incident, concerns about competence or a significant period away from the task.
