CoverSafe Spark Awareness and Project Safe Use

CoverSafe Spark Awareness and Project Safe Use

£0 Excl VAT

Practical awareness of CoverSafe Spark limits and task-specific arrangements, including localised, progressive, route-based or wider protection. Full-perimeter protection is used only where specifically required. Theory completion only; practical sign-off and employer authorisation remain required.

,

This awareness course explains how CoverSafe Spark is selected, installed, checked, used and withdrawn within an approved safe system of work for roofing and loft activities.

Learners follow a controlled sequence from safe loft access through progressive insulation removal and joist inspection, completion and formal release of the task-required protection arrangement, monitoring during corresponding work, authorised withdrawal and final insulation.

The protection extent is task-specific and may be localised, progressive, route-based or wider. Full-perimeter protection is not the default and should only be used where the task assessment and approved safe system specifically require it.

  • Correct product inspection and fixed limits
  • Selection of the task-appropriate protection arrangement
  • Safe positioning across sound structural supports
  • Supported overlap and a continuous protected access and return route
  • Formal release, stop-work, change control and authorised withdrawal

Important: Passing the online assessment records theory awareness only. It does not authorise independent installation or replace the approved safe system, manufacturer instructions, supervision or witnessed practical assessment.
