This course explains a safe, repeatable procedure for coupling and uncoupling standard semi-trailers fitted with a fifth wheel and kingpin.

Course structure
Complete eight lessons followed by a separate course-level 12-question final assessment. The pass mark is 80% (at least 10 correct), and retakes are permitted.
Scope boundary: this course covers standard semi-trailers. It does not teach centre-axle or turntable drawbar-trailer procedures. Successful completion records the knowledge assessment only and does not replace vehicle-specific instructions, practical training, supervised assessment, site rules or written employer authorisation.
