Fork lift truck travelling with a low load beside a pedestrian protected by a segregated warehouse walkway

Lift trucks create significant workplace-transport risk for operators, pedestrians, supervisors and site controllers.

This UK-focused course builds practical awareness of authorisation, pre-use checks, safe travel, load handling, pedestrian separation, defects and higher-risk tasks such as attachments, personnel platforms, battery charging and refuelling.

Course structure: six lessons followed by a ten-question final assessment. Passing confirms awareness only. It is not a lift-truck licence, practical operator qualification, competence assessment or written employer authorisation.
