Introduction to Health and Safety in the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry

Over the past five years, the motor vehicle repair (MVR) industry has experienced approximately 7,000 injuries and 30 fatalities. This course aims to highlight the main causes of accidents and health risks in the MVR sector and to outline the appropriate precautions you can take. We will cover a wide range of topics including slips and trips, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), personal protective equipment (PPE), manual handling, falls from height, fire and explosion, electrical safety, transport, and display screen equipment (DSE).
